Caleb B. Enjoys Extra Space, Solar Power, and Living in a Great Location at Mission 24 in San Marcos
A quick Google search for “new builds in San Marcos” is all it took for Caleb to find Mission 24 by Hallmark Communities. The family had been hunting for a new home for about six months and when they visited Mission 24, they quickly discovered that the neighborhood checked all their boxes.
Nestled in an established residential setting just north of Highway 78, Mission 24 offers a central location with all the best of North County San Diego within reach. The family, who are first-time homebuyers, were living in an apartment nearby and were eager to settle down in a new home of their own with more space for their family. “We love San Marcos,” shares Caleb. “There is so much to do, the scenery is nice, and we are very close to Carlsbad.”
Caleb continues, “When we lived in our apartment, I would drive about 7 miles to go to the gym, but now I walk. I just put in my AirPods, throw on my hoodie and go. It’s very convenient.” In addition to being within walking distance from the gym, Mission 24 is steps away from the grocery store, restaurants, and the Sprinter Station.
Caleb and his wife reside in their home full-time, while his children join them on their summer breaks from school.
“We originally thought that we would land on Hallmark’s 3-bedroom floor plan because it was going to be big enough for our family, but when we viewed the 4-bedroom, we were surprised by how large the bedrooms were and how well it lived,” explains Caleb. “Being the end unit made the final sale for us. Plus, we love that it has a 2-car garage and all the living quarters upstairs. That way we can do all the entertaining downstairs. The laundry room is right outside our bedroom, which is also really nice.”
After being sold on Mission 24’s location and the livable floor plan designs, the family soon discovered the high-quality included features offered by Hallmark Communities.
“Our home came with all the appliances and solar panels. I didn’t expect that,” exclaims Caleb. “The solar will help offset our utility bills and since it’s hooked up to our Wi-Fi, we can see how our panels are performing and how much energy we use.”
When asked about what Hallmark’s sales team did to make their family’s home-buying experience more pleasurable, Caleb notes, “The Sales Manager Sandy and Lender Charles were very friendly and helpful. Being first-time homebuyers, they took the time to explain everything and made it as easy as possible for us. As soon as they would get an update, we would get an email. That communication worked really well for us.” Caleb adds, “I still call Charles to this day. He just helped me with some questions I had about taxes. The entire experience was great, even after the sale.”
